[Remote] DER Business Analyst

The DER Business Analyst role involves supporting the administrative, commercial, and coordination aspects of the Distributed Energy Resource platform's business development, implementation, and ongoing operations.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with the internal business development team to track new business opportunities for the DER Analytics PlatformWork with technical teams to coordinate, finalize, and distribute timely and accurate quotes with supporting documentation to customersGenerate and maintain documentation required to support internal and external billing processes, including coordination with Finance and Operations teamsMonitor the status of ongoing platform subscriptions, renewals, and upgradesMaintain project trackers and shared documentation repositories, keeping all stakeholders informed of key milestones and deliverablesConduct regular meetings with DER team and other key stakeholders to review status of projects in development, construction and operationProcure hardware, instrumentation and software, including generating purchase requisitions, place orders, and track shipmentsDevelop and maintain process documentation, playbooks, and training materials to support consistent delivery of operational servicesSkillsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field2+ years of experience in administrative management, preferably supporting technical or energy-related projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with enterprise and departmental software systems such as D365 and SmartSheets as well as strong MS Excel skillsExceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneouslyAble to work collaboratively across teams and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levelsFamiliarity with AI or automation tools to help improve efficiency, a plusEducation or work experience in an engineering field a plusBenefitsHealth insuranceRetirement plansPaid time offPerformance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity, depending on the rolePeople-oriented insurance, investment, and incentive plansCompany OverviewAmeresco, Inc.
