The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is seeking a Departmental Analyst 12 for the Health and Human Services - Central Office. This role involves leading the design, development, and improvement of the Problem Gambling Program contract compliance, serving as a liaison within the department, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.ResponsibilitiesPerform as the recognized resource and lead for design, development, and improvement of the Problem Gambling Program contract complianceMaintaining and updating program guidance to ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, policies, and proceduresMonitor program spending to ensure fiscal constraintMonitor grantee financial and work reporting to ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, programs, and proceduresWork directly with grantees, in partnership with SUGE, to address needed corrections by granteesDeveloping applicable language for grant agreements as well as appropriate reporting templates to ensure grantee compliance with applicable rules, laws, policies, procedures, and regulationsSkillsPossession of a bachelor's degree in any majorThree years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state serviceRelevant experience and/or education referred to in the supplemental questions must be documented in the resume, transcript and/or application to allow for accurate screeningAttach a resume identifying specific experience and dates of employment.
