The role involves crafting persuasive demand letters based on case facts and medical records to maximize settlements for clients.
Responsibilities
• Calculating the total damage sustained by the client in medical expenses, property damage, lost wages, and more
• Draft compelling letters that outline case facts, liability, injuries, treatment, and damages to obtain maximum settlement amount from insurance companies
• Analyze medical records and bills to accurately summarize treatment and calculate damages
• Calculate the total damage sustained by the client in medical expenses, property damage, lost wages, and more
• Edit and revise drafts based on feedback from attorneys or supervisors
Skills
• 2+ years related experience in a Personal Injury law firm
• Familiar with reading medical reports and medical bills
• Organized and efficient with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent math skills and writing skills
• Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook
