[Remote] Deals & Underwriting Support Analyst (Real Estate)

Penbrothers is an HR & remote talent management partner, and they are seeking a highly detail-oriented Deals & Underwriting Support Analyst (Real Estate) to support their U.S.-based commercial real estate investment sales team. This entry-level role involves deal setup, financial data entry, underwriting support, and file organization across multiple active transactions. Responsibilities • Set up and maintain clean, organized deal folders in Dropbox; manage complex file structures for large-scale portfolio deals • Extract and input financial data (Unit Mixes, P&Ls, Tax info, and Management history) from client documents into our underwriting models • Download and integrate market data to support valuation efforts • Close the loop on transactions by uploading finalized financials into Salesforce and creating Sales Support Packages (SSP) • Manage the administrative flow of multiple active deals simultaneously without letting details slip through the cracks Skills • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field • Excel Proficiency: You should be comfortable navigating spreadsheets, inputting data, and understanding how formulas work • Expert-level organization skills within Windows and cloud storage (Dropbox) • Fast learner when it comes to new platforms, CRM tools (Salesforce), and web-based research • Non-Negotiable Accuracy: You have an 'eagle eye' for errors • Organizational Prowess: You can track many moving pieces across various transactions without feeling overwhelmed • Accountability: You take pride in your work, own your mistakes, and are eager to implement feedback • This is an entry-level role.
