The Deal Operations Manager will oversee and streamline the deal approval process, ensuring sales proposals align with company policies while facilitating collaboration among sales, finance, legal, and operations departments to optimize profit margins and enhance customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesDirect the development and execution of strategic deal plans, working closely with sales teams to construct deals that maximize revenue without compromising on deal margin while maintaining compliance with company policies and customer requirementsAnalyze deal profitability, pricing structures, and contract terms to ensure they meet business objectives and revenue goalsAct as the primary liaison between sales, finance, legal, Information Security and operations teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration during the deal review and approval processFacilitate negotiations by providing necessary documentation and insights, helping to remove roadblocks and expedite deal closureVigilantly monitor deal parameters to ensure strict adherence to internal controls and external regulations, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies. The goal here is to maximize deal marginImplement standardized protocols for deal approvals, ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance across all transactionsContinuously assess and refine deal desk policies, procedures, and tools to enhance scalability and efficiency in response to evolving business needsLead initiatives to automate and streamline the deal review process, reducing dependencies on manual methodsOversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of deal desk-related data, providing critical insights into deal trends, win-loss metrics, and performance against goalsLeverage data analytics to forecast trends, track team performance, and inform strategic decision-makingKey Result: Enhanced data accuracy and availability leading to more informed strategic decisions.
