[Remote] Database Administrator

They are seeking a Database Administrator responsible for managing a large distributed database environment and ensuring 24/7 availability. Responsibilities Install, design and maintain database system software and implement database security Provide support on all the stages of database implementation and/or database related deployments & maintenances Run diagnostic tools to identify database current and future performance bottlenecks and take appropriate corrective actions to improve database performance. Work with development teams to tune and optimize queries Troubleshoot performance and non-performance related issues either independently or in conjunction with other DBAs Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards Ensure 24/7 availability, security & integrity of the production application environment.
