They are seeking experienced Data Engineers to stabilize and scale core data pipelines that power analytics and reporting, focusing on operational reliability and long-term platform sustainability.ResponsibilitiesDesigning, configuring, and monitoring production grade ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest unstructured and structured data from third party data sources into our MySQL operational data warehouse using integrate.ioImplement CDC and incremental loading strategies for efficient and reliable refreshDefining and auditing data access permissions, ensuring security guardrails are maintained as user access privileges rotateWriting and debugging custom scripts and database queries to interact with native platform APIsNormalizing and mapping complex, disparate schemas from Salesforce CRM, iCIMS talent data, and Jira ticketing systems, and othersDesign and maintain analytical models including fact and dimension tablesManage schema changes, late arriving data, and source inconsistenciesEnsure data quality, consistencyProvide technical leadership and define data integration best practices and standardsSkillsSeven or more years of hands on experience in data engineering or data platform rolesStrong experience working with MySQL in analytical or hybrid environmentsProven experience integrating external APIs and third party systemsDemonstrated experience implementing CDC or incremental load patternsDeep understanding of dimensional modeling and warehouse architectureAdvanced SQL skills and strong proficiency in Python or similar languagesAbility to operate independently and own pipelines end to endCompany OverviewJerseySTEM provides stem oriented educational opportunities.
