Remote Data Typist (Entry-Level) at Lauring Construction Co Inc
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Remote Data Typist to join our team. As a Remote Data Typist, you will be responsible for accurately typing data into our database, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining confidentiality. This is an entry-level position, and we welcome applicants with little to no experience.
Responsibilities
Ā Sourcing and organizing pertinent raw data, including audio files, working documents, and research papers.
Ā Typing and formatting documents according to predetermined standards.
Ā Requesting clarity on assignment instructions, if needed.
Ā Editing your work to ensure that it is error-free, consistent, and adherent to guidelines.
Ā Printing and distributing copies of your approved work, as required.
Ā Creating digital copies of all tasks in case of loss or theft.
Ā Downloading and installing important software updates.
Ā Maintain information confidentiality in accordance with security rules.
Ā Create spreadsheets and presentations by combining data from current files.
Ā Ensuring that your computer is password-protected and free from viruses at all times.
Requirements
Ā High school diploma or equivalent.
Ā Prior experience as a data entry typist is preferable.
Ā Satisfactory completion of a skills alignment exercise.
Ā Advanced proficiency in mainstream word processors.
Ā Detail-oriented, with the capacity to detect grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
Ā Must be fluent in english.
Ā Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ā Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Ā Excellent at independent and group work.
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $18.00 - $50.00/hour.
