The company is seeking a talented Data Scientist who will apply data mining techniques and machine learning algorithms to large data sets, build predictive models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders throughout the business to understand existing processes and identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive solutionsPerform data mining and analysis from various databases to build solutions for optimizing product development, client portfolios, and business strategiesDesign and build custom AI/ML models and algorithms applied to data sets for enhancing products and processesConduct exploratory data analysis to determine the effectiveness and accuracy of data for application in models and algorithmsDevelop and perform A/B testing frameworks to assess model quality and validityInterpret data analysis, model, and algorithm results to business and technical teams to facilitate decision-makingDesign and build predictive models to increase and optimize portfolios, generate revenue opportunities, prevent client attrition, and optimize portfolio segments for timely offersDevelop processes and tools for monitoring and analyzing model performance and data accuracyStay updated on industry standards and advancements in data-driven technologies and toolsWork in an agile framework as neededPerform duties as assignedSkillsBachelors degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or similar field2+ year's professional experience working within business intelligence, data science, or operations research with experience in development of advanced analyticsProficient with computer languages such as Python, and SQLFamiliar with various machine learning techniques including clustering, ensemble methods, artificial neural networks.
