The role involves building machine learning solutions, developing prototypes, and collaborating with various stakeholders to operationalize the computer vision strategy.ResponsibilitiesWork with the Computer Vision SME, business SMEs, and technical teams to understand requirements and project objectivesConvert business and technical requirements into data science solutions and deliverablesDevelop, test, and refine machine learning and computer vision models based on established frameworks and standardsBuild prototypes, proof of concepts, and production-ready analytical solutionsSupport image-processing and asset-classification initiatives involving drone, satellite, and aerial imageryAssist in training, evaluation, validation, and optimization of modelsCollaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and other technical resources to deploy and operationalize modelsParticipate in model performance reviews and help improve accuracy and effectiveness over timeDocument methodologies, findings, and implementation approachesSkillsStrong Data Science background with hands-on experience building machine learning modelsExperience translating business requirements into analytical and technical solutionsExposure to computer vision concepts, methodologies, and modeling techniquesPrior experience developing prototypes and proof-of-concept solutionsExperience working with structured and unstructured dataAbility to work with cross-functional teams, including SMEs, engineers, and business stakeholdersStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsExperience working throughout the model development lifecycleComputer vision and image-processing experienceObject detection, image classification, pattern recognition, or asset recognition projectsExperience working with drone imagery, satellite imagery, aerial photography, or similar visual datasetsUtility, energy, infrastructure, asset-management, or inspection-related experienceFamiliarity with model deployment, monitoring, and optimizationCompany OverviewWorkTrust Solutions is a staffing firm with a professional network in ERP, performance management, and business intelligence.
