The role involves developing predictive models, maintaining LLM powered features, and ensuring the reliability of production systems.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, evaluate, and deploy predictive and generative models for real production use casesPerform feature engineering and data preparation for modeling workflowsTranslate business and product questions into analytical solutionsBuild and maintain LLM powered features and servicesDevelop retrieval augmented generation (RAG) pipelines using embeddings and vector databasesIntegrate LLMs with APIs and internal tools using structured function callingFinetune foundation models with parameter efficient approaches (e.g., LoRA)Evaluate model quality, detect hallucinations, and implement safety guardrailsUse synthetic data to improve model performance, testing, and fairnessOptimize inference performance and cost across different model providersDeploy and operate machine learning and GenAI models in productionBuild CI/CD pipelines for models and data workflowsMonitor performance, data quality, and model driftDesign versioning, rollback, and retraining strategiesPartner with platform and infrastructure teams to ensure reliability and scalabilityBuild low latency data pipelines and real time decisioning systemsWork with streaming data and event driven architecturesSupport systems with strict uptime and response time requirementsContribute to feature stores used for both real time and batch inferenceSkills3–6 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AIA degree (Master's or better preferred) in Computer Science, Data Science or related fieldsStrong Python and SQL skillsHandson experience deploying models into productionFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Experience with modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikitlearn)Exposure to LLMs, embeddings, and GenAI workflowsAbility to communicate clearly with engineers, product managers, and nontechnical partnersExperience with streaming data systemsExperience operating models at scaleKnowledge of MLOps tools and observability practicesExperience building AI solutions that support customer facing productsBenefitsCertain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance.Company OverviewRealPage is the leading global provider of AI-enabled software platforms to the real estate industry.
