[Remote] Data Scientist

Responsibilities Identify business opportunities through data-driven insights and develop high-impact analytical solutions Independently explore data and create a structured analytical work plan to derive meaningful insights Execute and analyze hypotheses to pinpoint factors contributing to forecasting errors Communicate analytical solutions and results through compelling narratives and visualizations to drive informed business decisions Understand coding, GIT, documentation, and quality assurance best practices Skills 1+ years of experience in prescriptive and descriptive analytics, statistics, or a related field, with a proven ability to effectively conduct root cause analysis and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making Proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas) with 2+ years of professional experience Strong statistical and analytical background with hands-on experience in experimental design and ROI analysis Skilled in exploring various data sources and systems to diagnose the root causes and be able to provide effective solution which may include machine learning or statistical methods Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel and PowerPoint Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field is required Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities which leverages statical and machine learning methods Solid SQL, Pyspark and Python coding skills are essential Experience in the PBM industry and/or management consulting is a plus Proficiency in Tableau is advantageous A Master's degree in a quantitative field or an MBA is strongly preferred Benefits Affordable medical plan options 401(k) plan (including matching company contributions) Employee stock purchase plan No-cost programs for all colleagues including wellness screenings, tobacco cessation and weight management programs, confidential counseling and financial coaching Benefit solutions that address the different needs and preferences of our colleagues including paid time off, flexible work schedules, family leave, dependent care resources, colleague assistance programs, tuition assistance, retiree medical access and many other benefits depending on eligibility.
