[Remote] Data Modeler with AWS (Data Engineering) & Aerospace Background

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TechDoQuest is seeking a Data Modeler with a focus on AWS data services and an aerospace background. The Data Modeler will design and implement data models to support the development of curated, reusable, and governed data products, ensuring data quality and enabling efficient data consumption. Responsibilities • Data Modeling : Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data products • Data Analysis : Profile and document key metrics of existing data products, including lineage, quality, and reuse potential • Collaboration : Work with stakeholders to define business rules, KPIs, and consumption requirements • Documentation : Create data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and metadata documentation • Governance : Define and implement data governance principles for certified reusable data products Skills • Experience with AWS data services (Redshift, Glue, S3), Especially Redshift • Data Modeling: Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data products • Data Analysis: Profile and document key metrics of existing data products, including lineage, quality, and reuse potential • Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to define business rules, KPIs, and consumption requirements • Documentation: Create data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and metadata documentation • Governance: Define and implement data governance principles for certified reusable data products • Proficiency in tools like ER/Studio, Erwin, or similar • Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (Redshift, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB) • Experience with data quality, lineage, and compliance frameworks • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field • 5+ years of experience in data modeling and database design • Familiarity with AWS data services (Redshift, Glue, S3) is a plus Company Overview • Techdoquest is a software company that specializes in IT consulting & services, cloud migration, IT Staffing, outsourcing, and telecom.
