[Remote] Data Migration Specialist (Lawson to Workday)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Gulf Coast Automation Group is seeking a Data Migration Specialist for a remote contract role. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical support for data migration from Lawson/Infor to Workday, focusing on HCM and Payroll data extraction and ensuring data integrity during the migration process. Responsibilities β’ Write and maintain SQL scripts to accurately identify and extract HCM and Payroll data changes between specific dates β’ Analyze Lawson/Infor data related to employees, jobs, compensation, benefits, and payroll to ensure integrity β’ Produce clean, EIB-ready CSV files that map correctly to Workday data expectations β’ Collaborate with functional and technical teams to confirm cutoff dates, logic, and extraction parameters β’ Troubleshoot and resolve data issues identified during the testing phases to ensure accurate migration Skills β’ Strong SQL skills with extensive experience in hands-on data extraction and script maintenance β’ Direct experience with Lawson/Infor HCM and Payroll data structures β’ Solid understanding of HR and Payroll concepts, including employee records, compensation, and benefits β’ Familiarity with Workday EIBs and a clear understanding of data formatting requirements for successful loads β’ Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and meet strict project deadlines Benefits β’ Health insurance β’ 401(k) β’ Paid time off Company Overview β’ Current Jobs: Veteran & Minority owned.
