[Remote] Data Migration Consultant

The Data Migration Consultant will manage the data migration process for new CRM customers, ensuring data integrity and accuracy while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders throughout the implementation.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a full portfolio of new CRM clients, serving as their data point of contact throughout implementationConduct data imports by preparing complex data import rules for software engineersPerform data validation checks throughout the process to ensure data integrity and accuracy, including pre-migration audits and post-migration reconciliationExamine source Excel data to identify its structure, quality, and potential issues like inconsistencies, missing values, or non-standard entriesDocument the entire migration process, including data maps, transformation logic, and any issues encountered, and communicate with business stakeholders and development teams to ensure all requirements are metAddress and resolve any issues that arise during or after the migration, such as data import errors or data discrepanciesManage all projects efficiently by keeping relevant internal systems accurate and up to date, including recording progress in ChurnZero, ZenDesk, JIRA, Salesforce, and other company systemsCollaborate effectively with internal cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Implementation, Support) to ensure alignment on client strategy, project status, and a cohesive, unified service experience throughout the migration lifecycleSkills1–2 years of hands-on data migration experience, including data translation and import processesAdvanced Excel and Google Sheet skills, including knowledge of common functionsMeticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrityA history of delivering exceptional customer serviceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify problems and develop creative solutionsHighly-developed written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skillsExperience in the nonprofit industry preferredExperience working in a SaaS environment preferredCompany OverviewNeon One provides social good organizations with unified tools and services they need to help fulfill their mission.
