[Remote] Data Migration Analyst

They are seeking a Data Migration Analyst to support the migration of insurance data from legacy systems to the Applied EPIC platform, ensuring data accuracy and compliance while collaborating with various stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with third-party vendors to complete required steps for extracting data from multiple source systemsAnalyze legacy systems to understand data structures, relationships, and business rulesTranslate legacy data into target system formats, including field-level mappings, source to destination code mapping, default values, and conditional logicCommunicate and collaborate with business owners and internal teams (including operations and trainers) to improve data quality and resolve data issues prior to conversionLead and manage all data conversion–related meetings and calls, including pre-conversion data assessments, requirements discussions, data reviews, issue resolution, and status updatesWork closely with the system vendor to identify, analyze, and resolve data discrepanciesValidate migrated data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation with source systemsPerform data testing and validation for each sample delivery, ensuring alignment with approved mapping documents and data change requestsProvide post-migration support and assist with data-related issues following go-liveAdhere to defined process timelines and milestones while managing data conversion activities across multiple concurrent projectsSkillsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Experience in data migration or data analysis within the insurance industryKnowledge of insurance data domains, ACORD forms and insurance data standardsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skillsAbility to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholdersStrong SQL skills and experience working with relational databasesExperience with Applied EPIC or similar insurance management systemsFamiliarity with insurance regulatory and compliance requirementsCompany OverviewWorld Insurance Associates is a unique insurance organization offering top products and services from major providers, combined with attentive service from local agents.
