Job Description:
As a Kitchen Assistant and Cashier at Tanatan, you will play a dual role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and our customers receive top-notch service. You will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and handling cashier duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Assist in preparing ingredients, cooking, and assembling dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
Kitchen Maintenance: Keep the kitchen clean and organized, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and managing inventory.
Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
Cashier Duties: Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, manage the cash register, and provide correct change.
Order Accuracy: Verify orders to ensure they are complete and correct before serving or packaging for delivery.
Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen or cashier role is preferred but not required.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
High school diploma or equivalent.
