Job Summary As a Data Entry Representative, you will be responsible for entering claims in compliance with established procedures, meeting production and quality standards, identifying and resolving eligibility edits, and referring other edits to Claims Examiners. This role requires a strong and diverse skillset, including experience with data management systems, Windows platform, and AS400 (MS DOS) system. You will work in a remote setting, requiring self-motivation, discipline, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities Enter claims data into the system accurately and efficiently, meeting daily production and quality standards. Identify and resolve eligibility edits, and refer other edits to Claims Examiners for further action. Work with multiple monitors and navigate various data management systems, including Windows platform and AS400 (MS DOS) system. Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to perform tasks and manage workflows. Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider data demographics. Demonstrate familiarity with insurance products, such as medical or dental, and understand their relevance to the role. Prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively to meet daily metrics and deadlines. Respond to calls and emails throughout the workday, ensuring timely communication with team members and stakeholders. Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data entered. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications: Experience with inputting data into data management systems. Proficiency in working with Windows platform and AS400 (MS DOS) system. Medium skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Comfort working with multiple monitors. Experience with working with provider data demographics. Familiarity with insurance products, such as medical or dental. Experience in a production work environment, meeting daily metrics and deadlines. Flexible attitude to adapt to daily/weekly changes. Reliable and able to self-manage while working remotely. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered a plus: Previous experience in the insurance and financial products industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
