[Remote] Data Entry Clerk

They are seeking a Remote Part-Time Data Entry Clerk to ensure internal systems and customer data remain accurate, consistent, and up to date, while working independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Accurately enter and update data into internal databases, spreadsheets, and CRM systems. • Review source documents for completeness, accuracy, and proper formatting prior to entry. • Perform regular data quality checks and identify inconsistencies or errors. • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive or proprietary information in compliance with company standards. • Organize and categorize data to ensure streamlined access for other departments. • Generate and share regular status reports with team leaders or supervisors. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and customer support, to verify and validate data accuracy. • Assist with digital file organization, record management, and administrative data support as needed. Skills • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred. • Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related role. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. • Excellent typing skills (minimum 50 WPM) and familiarity with data entry software tools. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Workspace. • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment. • Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot. • Basic knowledge of data reporting or analytics. • Familiarity with networking, telecom, or technology industries.
