They are seeking a Data Engineer to support the ingestion, quality, integrity, reliability, and governance of data across their enterprise platforms, contributing to the advancement of modern data and analytics architecture.ResponsibilitiesDeliver trusted data sets and services from complex data sources and environments to support DTN customers and internal stakeholdersSupport the development and delivery of modern data and analytics architecture through data integration, acquisition, and management solutionsDesign, build, and maintain data pipelines and ingestion processes that ensure data quality, reliability, and scalabilitySupport customer and partner data infrastructure needs by troubleshooting technical issues and optimizing data environmentsContribute to the continuous improvement of data management standards, practices, and architectural patternsDocument data engineering processes, standards, and best practices to promote adoption across teamsEnsure data governance, security, and compliance requirements are incorporated into solution deliveryIdentify opportunities to automate processes, reduce complexity, and improve operational efficiency through innovative data solutionsDevelop reference architectures, standards, and documentation to support consistent approaches to data acquisition, transformation, storage, and analytics consumptionSkills2+ years of data engineering experience with pipelines, data ingestion, ETL/ELT processes, or 2+ years of software engineering experience2+ years of cloud experience, preferably across multiple cloud platformsStrong programming skills in Python or other modern development languages such as Java or GoExperience with ETL processes, SQL development, and data transformation workflowsExperience working with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQLExperience with AWS cloud services and cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake or AWS-native solutionsAbility to design solutions that support data transformation, governance, workload management, and complex data structuresExperience with cloud architectures, highly available systems, and scalable solutionsFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practicesExperience with Docker and Kubernetes environmentsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceExperience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or VueExperience developing RESTful APIs using Node.js or PythonExperience consuming REST and GraphQL APIsStrong understanding of source control and versioning practices using GitExperience supporting enterprise data and analytics platforms in cloud-native environmentsBenefitsCompetitive SalaryUnlimited PTOFlexible working hoursRemote work model (position dependent)Competitive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans6% 401K matchingUnlimited access to 13k+ courses via learning platform to support employee career advancementEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Market competitive variable pay and benefitsCompany OverviewDTN is a global data and technology company helping operational leaders in energy, agriculture, and weather-driven industries make faster, smarter decisions.
