[Remote] Data Domain Architect

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Workiy Inc. is seeking a Data Domain Architect to join its Enterprise Architecture Team. This remote role involves leading and consulting on eHealth's information and data domain, developing architectural viewpoints, and aligning data strategies with business needs. Responsibilities • Develop and manage roadmaps for data architecture transformation • Evaluate existing data architectures and provide improvement recommendations • Define architecture standards and reference architectures for the proper use of information and data • Drive adoption of modern data technologies and practices, including: • Data modelling • Data integration • Data warehousing • Recommend new technologies to improve data management effectiveness • Work closely with data management and IT teams to ensure delivery of requirements • Gather and document data requirements • Assess the current state of data architecture • Develop a target state for data architecture • Perform gap analysis and create a data roadmap to resolve gaps • Identify, evaluate, and leverage emerging data technologies • Define and document architecture and technology standards, reference and solution architectures, constraints, and guidelines Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture with a proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise data platforms • Must hold at least one of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals, OR TOGAF 9 (The Open Group Architecture Framework) certification • Must be located and permitted to work in Canada • Only one candidate per proponent may be submitted • Experience with Azure data services, including: Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics • Experience developing multi-year technology and service roadmaps • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements • Experience with Big Data technologies in a healthcare context • Understanding of advanced analytics and machine learning and their applications Company Overview • Workiy provides digital solutions and staffing services, utilizing our patented delivery model and a unique and flexible, client-centric approach to tackling technology's biggest challenges.
