[Remote] Data Center Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CyberCoders is a national mechanical contractor currently building multiple large data centers across the country. They are seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead mechanical scope execution, manage project schedules and budgets, and coordinate with design engineers and trade partners to ensure successful project delivery.ResponsibilitiesLead mechanical scope execution for data center projects, including cooling systems, piping, equipment installation, and critical infrastructure upgradesManage project schedules, budgets, procurement, and resource planning from kickoff through commissioningCoordinate with design engineers, BIM/VDC teams, and trade partners to ensure constructability and alignment with project requirementsReview drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs to maintain technical accuracy and complianceOversee installation quality, safety performance, and adherence to mechanical standards and owner requirementsFacilitate weekly project meetings, track progress, and resolve issues that impact the schedule or costMaintain strong communication with clients, providing updates, forecasts, and risk mitigation plansSupport commissioning activities, system testing, and turnover documentationDrive continuous improvement in processes, workflows, and field executionSkills5+ years of mechanical project management experience, preferably in mission-critical or data center environmentsStrong understanding of HVAC systems, chilled water plants, CRAH/CRAC units, piping systems, and mechanical equipment installationExperience managing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and procurement for complex mechanical scopesAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and BIM modelsExcellent communication, coordination, and client-facing skillsStrong problem-solving ability and comfort working in fast-paced, high-stakes environmentsProficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet), Microsoft Office, and construction documentation platformsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferredYou must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visaBenefitsQuarterly Bonus StructureCompany OverviewCyberCoders is a recruiting firm locating job positions across all industries, including finance, education, engineering and healthcare.
