They are seeking a Technical Consultant for Power and Cooling to manage projects and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver complex power and cooling solutions for IT infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesDeliver complex power and cooling solutions for air and water-cooled IT solutionsWork with key stakeholders (customers or internal) requesting infrastructure enhancements to develop a clear understanding of requirements and success criteriaCollaborate with sales and critical engineering subject matter experts to determine the solution scope and projected costsCapture the solution description and review with key stakeholdersWork closely with engineers and developers to ensure the tasks are well understood and acceptance criteria metContinue partnerships with internal or external customers to ensure the project goals and requirements are metDrive the build vs. buy decisions as needed, and identify key technologies needed to deliver new products with each releaseParticipate actively with Development and external organizations like ASHRAE while staying current with technologies and techniques that will move our business forwardBe actively involved in the physical installation of complex IT system that are air or water-cooledBe able to provide engineering guidance over a wide range of disciplines (power/electrical, mechanical, thermal, plumbing, controls)Effectively project manage vendors contracted to provide separate pieces of the solutionSkills5+ years of experience in providing effective leadership in engagements as a technical consultant in the power and cooling subject matter areaProven ability to work across a wide range of stakeholders and ability to drive issues to closureUnderstanding of data center and IT solution power delivery architecturesUnderstanding of data center and IT solution cooling architectures and heat transferBenefitsIndividuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions.Lenovoโs various benefits can be found at www.lenovobenefits.comCompany OverviewLenovo Group is a computer technology company that manufactures personal computers, smartphones, televisions, and wearable devices.
