[Remote] Data & Automation Engineer

The Data & Automation Engineer will support the development of Python-based tools for automation and document processing, contributing to data migration and integration of AI services.ResponsibilitiesSupport development of Python‑based tools for document scanning, extraction, and processingAssist in automating workflows using PowerShell and Microsoft 365 servicesWork with SharePoint Online libraries, metadata, and document structuresContribute to data migration activities from file shares to SharePoint OnlineHelp implement and test document classification and records management processesAnalyze file metadata and content to support categorization and compliance effortsCollaborate with senior engineers on integrating AI services (e.g., Azure OpenAI)Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of automation pipelinesDocument scripts, processes, and technical configurationsSkillsUS Citizenship (Top Secret eligibility)Bachelors degree and 5+ years of relevant professional experienceExperience with Python scriptingExperience with PowerShell scriptingUnderstanding of SharePoint Online and the Microsoft 365 ecosystemExposure to data handling, file systems, or data migration conceptsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasetsTop Secret clearance preferredKnowledge of records management or information governance conceptsExposure to Azure services or other cloud-based toolsExperience working with structured and unstructured dataWillingness to learn and grow in AI-enabled solutionsBenefitsHands-on experienceCertificationsIndustry trainingAccenture Federal Services offers a wide variety of benefits.
