[Remote] Data Analytics & AI, Senior Consultant - Project Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Avaap is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Data, Analytics & AI team. This role is responsible for driving successful data project delivery, managing client relationships, and leading project teams to ensure projects are completed on time and meet customer requirements.ResponsibilitiesManages Data, Analytics and AI client relationships and engagements that are significant in size, scope, complexity, revenue, and/or strategic valueDevelop detailed project plans to deliver on the agreed upon scope of work for data, analytics and AI projects and ensure project is delivered according to the project planMaintains accountability for quality of delivery meeting or exceeding customer requirementsEnsures that work produced is consistent with contract requirements, that project margins are managed and projects are staffed properlyServes as a point of escalation for client delivery assuranceManage project teams that include technical and functional resources and provide clear direction and tasks for the team deliver effectivelyManage project status, risk and escalations and communicate with client stakeholdersManage client project stakeholders and client dependencies to ensure project timelines are metCreative problem solving on complex projects to resolve issues and remove blockers to ensure project timelines are metLead client-facing presentations and conversations with client leadership, project sponsors and other key client stakeholders to share project updatesSkills5 years of experience in leading large/complex data-driven projects and project teams in a client-facing capacity from inception through completion while ensuring customer satisfaction and all scope/requirements are metKnowledge of modern data, analytics, and AI technologies, solutions, methodologies and best practicesExperience managing project budgets, timelines to align with contractual obligationsExperience and comfortability overseeing multiple projects at a timeConsulting delivery experience with demonstrated ability to set strategy, success criteria and scope for clients and then ensure project teams deliver client solutions to meet those needsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiences, both internal and externalAdvanced Microsoft Office skills consistent with consulting usesMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectivelyMust be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computerAbility to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environmentPassion for exceptional customer service and collaborationAbility to work remotely or out of one of Avaap's physical office locationsCurrent permanent U.S. work authorization requiredData, analytics and/or AI related technical experience and/or certificationsExperience leading client engagements and/or projects involving data modernization initiatives and/or modern cloud data platformsBenefitsOpen PTOCompetitive vision, dental, and medical, including fertility coveragePaid parental leave401(k) matchCompany-paid disability and life benefitsEmployee Assistance Program, including behavioral health servicesFitness stipendCompany OverviewAvaap is a technology and management consulting firm that helps organizations modernize systems, transform processes, and drive meaningful outcomes.
