[Remote] Data Analyst - Provider Services

The Data Analyst role involves analyzing data from multiple sources to identify trends and issues, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to support healthcare services.ResponsibilitiesCompiles, organizes and conducts various performance, cost, budget and/or specialized data analysis to document and identify trends or potential issuesReconciles data and develops explanation of variances as necessaryMeets with requestors to get requirements and develop solutions to fulfill various requests (reports, trends, measures, forecasts)Maintains responsibility for assigned reports, producing them accurately, and in a timely mannerEstablishes relationship with business owners of reportsResponds to customer questions and requests in a timely mannerMaintains documentation and ensures all procedures support department and company policies and proceduresWorks with management to understand and interpret the impact of decisions made by retrieving, analyzing and identifying variations and trends in healthcare data, and communicating the information obtained from analysisOther duties as assignedRegular and reliable attendance is requiredSkillsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare, Information Management, or equivalent experienceIf supporting TRICARE contract, must be a U.S. CitizenIf supporting TRICARE contract, must be able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation1 year experience in healthcare analysis, data management, or equivalent training or educationProficient in Microsoft ExcelFamiliarity with healthcare claims and payment dataBasic knowledge of JIRA and ability to write user stories in AgileProficiency in the use of computer systems, database applications, Microsoft Office, structured query language (SQL), MS Azure and Databricks and/or EdifecsExperience with business process needs analysis and requirements gatheringExperience with JAD sessions and performing detailed fact gatheringFamiliarity with reporting tools such as PowerBIBenefitsMedical, Dental and Vision CoveragePaid time off401(k) Retirement Savings Plan (with matching)Short-term and long-term disability, basic life, and accidental death and dismemberment insuranceTuition reimbursementPaid volunteer timeCompany OverviewTriWest Healthcare Alliance - Serving Those Who Serve.
