[Remote] Data Analyst, Product Finance

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lead is a fintech building banking infrastructure for embedded financial products and services. The Data Analyst for the Product Finance team will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data streams related to Banking-as-a-Service programs, requiring strong data analysis skills and financial acumen. Responsibilities • Partner File Management: Monitor the timely delivery of Partner Files and generate cross-functional reports detailing status and dependencies. • Data Stream Optimization: Analyze and streamline complex data fields and sources to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities. • SQL Development: Create and execute production-level SQL queries to facilitate the onboarding of new financial partners and integrate data streams. • Validation Oversight: Monitor, document, and clearly communicate any changes to automated data validations to the broader Product Finance team. • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation detailing the core Finxact system related to financial data derived from BaaS programs. Skills • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • 3-5 years experience in Financial Data Analysis or equivalent • Demonstrated, advanced experience analyzing databases and manipulating large datasets using SQL. • Expert-Level Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling for financial analysis. • Solid understanding of Bank and/or Fintech Accounting data streams and financial workflows. • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and an ability to work effectively across technical and business teams. • Previous experience working with fintech or banking core systems (e.g., Finxact) is highly preferred.
