[Remote] Data Analyst (Polish)

In this role, you will help ensure accurate, high-quality data delivery by analyzing multilingual outputs, improving classification performance, and supporting taxonomy translation and parser development.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, evaluate, and improve the quality of multilingual text classifier outputsPartner with linguistics and engineering teams to develop and refine language-specific parsersTranslate and validate taxonomy content such as Skills, Titles, and Occupations from English to Polish (and/or Polish to English as needed)Identify patterns in data errors and contribute to ongoing improvements in rules, logic, and workflowsDocument findings clearly and follow established processes to ensure consistency and qualitySkillsBachelor's degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, NLP, or a related fieldFluency in reading and writing English and Polish, with strong attention to linguistic detailUnderstanding of syntax and structural language analysisProficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs, functions, and data cleanup)Working knowledge of query languages such as SQLAdvanced experience writing and debugging rules using RegExFamiliarity with text analysis, NLP, or machine learning fundamentalsExperience performing data analysis using tools such as Excel and/or PythonComfort working with high-volume, repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and focusAbility to follow complex instructions, navigate ambiguity, and work independentlyStrong sense of urgency, organization, and time managementReliable laptop and stable internet accessCompany OverviewLightcast is an IT company that offers software, APIs, and consulting services for communities, businesses, and educational institutions.
