They are hiring a Data Analyst Consultant to help clients transform complex data into actionable business insights through polished reporting solutions and effective analytics strategies.ResponsibilitiesLead discovery sessions with stakeholders to define reporting priorities, success measures, and adoption goalsDevelop polished Power BI dashboards that turn operational data into clear business insightBuild reliable semantic models, reusable measures, and efficient query logic for enterprise reportingTransform and standardize data from multiple platforms, business applications, flat files, and cloud sourcesTranslate complex business questions into scalable reporting solutions that support better planning and performance trackingManage several active client initiatives at once while maintaining strong communication, documentation, and delivery qualityPresent findings and recommendations to business leaders in a way that is concise, practical, and actionablePartner with client teams to improve reporting strategy, governance, and user adoptionSkills5 to 8 or more years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a closely related field3 to 5 or more years of hands-on Power BI experience, including advanced dashboard developmentDeep expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and dimensional data modelingExperience owning dashboard programs from discovery through rollout and enhancementStrong analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and clear communication skillsComfort managing several client priorities in a consulting style environmentExperience combining and transforming data from varied systems and sourcesPrior consulting or other client facing delivery experienceExposure to Snowflake, Azure, BigQuery, or similar cloud data ecosystemsExperience with ETL, ELT, and data pipeline workflowsFamiliarity with Power Platform tools such as Power Apps and Power AutomateUnderstanding of Power BI Service administration, governance, and deployment practicesBackground supporting construction, capital projects, data center operations, or similarly complex project-based environmentsCompany OverviewBlue Signal is a nationwide recruiting, executive search, and staffing firm built on a foundation of helping others, doing the right thing, and being excellent.
