[Remote] Data Analyst

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst with strong Python expertise and banking domain knowledge to support credit decisioning and marketing initiatives. This role focuses on analyzing business requirements, improving processes, and managing ticket-based requests to translate stakeholder needs into actionable Python-based decision rules.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze non-IT business problems and identify process improvement opportunitiesTranslate stakeholder needs into clear, actionable requirements and technical specificationsMaintain and enhance credit card decisioning logic through ticket-based workflowsImplement and validate rules within Credit Karma's interfaceDevelop ROI frameworks and business cases to evaluate proposed investmentsDocument current and future state processes and ensure alignment across stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and optimize decision strategiesManage incoming requests to update credit card and loan decisioning logicWork closely with stakeholders to refine requirements and implement solutionsWrite and validate Python-based rules and data transformationsSupport onboarding and knowledge transfer for Credit Karma rule logicSkillsStrong Python development (pandas, NumPy, DataFrames)Knowledge of U.S. banking products, especially credit cards and credit reportingFamiliarity with CI/CD, Git, and automation workflowsExperience in ticket-based environments (Jira, ServiceNow)Experience with SQLExposure to Experian PowerCurve or similar decisioning toolsBenefitsThe individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonusesCan participate in medical, dental, and vision benefitsCompany's 401(k) retirement planCompany OverviewVaco is the Talent Solutions division of Highspring, a leading global professional services organization.
