[Remote] Data Analyst

The role involves implementing data standards, deploying automation tools, and transforming raw data into actionable insights for stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze data using statistical techniques and deliver clear reportsFilter and clean data to maintain quality and integrityDesign and maintain data systems and databases, including fixing coding errors and other data-related issuesAcquire and mine data from primary and secondary sources, then organize it into formats easily read by humans or machinesUse statistical tools to interpret data sets, with particular attention to trends and patterns valuable for diagnostic and predictive analyticsCreate presentations and reports based on findings and recommendationsPrepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, drivers, and predictions using relevant dataCollaborate with developers, engineers, architects, and organizational leaders to identify process-improvement opportunities, recommend system modifications, and help develop data governance policiesProduce documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the analysis process and replicate it as neededSkillsBachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics3–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role within a professional services or consulting firmStrong programming skills in languages such as Python or RExperience with SQL and database managementKnowledge of data warehousing concepts and data integration techniquesFamiliarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikExcellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilitiesStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environmentAttention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results within tight deadlinesAWS skills, with AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner requiredComfortable working with minimal direction in an environment with high ambiguityAWS Certified Data Analytics – SpecialtyBenefitsPosition_type: W-2 ContractWork_model: [onsite]Company OverviewOxenham Group offers specialized recruiting services, focusing on Life Science and IT industries.
