The D365 Supply Chain Lead Consultant role involves collaborating with customers to analyze business processes and implement Microsoft Dynamics solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency.ResponsibilitiesParticipates in every aspect of the solution implementation, from analyzing customer business requirements to configuring and testing the Microsoft Dynamics application to meet customer needsCollaborates with stakeholders to gather comprehensive requirements aligned to business objectives, understand current processes, and identify opportunities for improvement across the supply chainProvides in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics applications and evaluates customer processes against standard functionalityFollows implementation methodology, understanding key activities and deliverables for client engagements, leveraging standard templates and improving documentation qualityUtilizes Microsoft technology and ALM stack (LCS, BPM, Azure DevOps, Task Guides, Power Platform, Office 365, etc.)Contributes to continuous improvement of delivery practicesDocuments business requirements clearly, defining expected outcomes and system behaviorsConfigures and customizes Microsoft Dynamics solutions to support supply chain processes such as procurement, inventory management, production, planning, warehousing, and transportationFacilitates decision-making when customizations are required and develops functional design documents to guide developmentLeads testing efforts including CRPs, Program Increments (PIs), and UAT, ensuring solutions meet business requirementsConducts training for customer resources to support successful adoption and ongoing use of the systemProvides structured post-go-live support, troubleshooting issues and managing cases according to SLAContributes to knowledge base, methodology improvements, and thought leadership through documentation and content creationApplies industry expertise to identify risks and challenges in supply chain implementationsSkillsBachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fieldProven ability to support multiple concurrent consulting engagements and deliver successful outcomesExperience implementing end-to-end supply chain solutions (procurement, inventory, manufacturing, planning, logistics, and distribution)Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SC)Strong understanding of supply chain processes including demand planning, order management, production, and distributionExperience leading client SMEs and junior consultantsFamiliarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologiesStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsSelf-starter with the ability to take ownership and drive resultsAbility to travel up to 50%Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments3–5 years of experience with Dynamics 365 F&SCExperience with Azure DevOps and Life Cycle Services (LCS)Experience writing Functional Design Documents (FDDs)Experience with data migration using D365 Data Management FrameworkExperience with Transportation Management (TMS) and broader logistics processesExperience working with global, multicultural teamsCommunication: Proficient in English written and verbal communications.
