[Remote] D365 Finance Solution Analyst

The D365 Finance Solution Analyst is responsible for evaluating new business requirements and developing solutions to meet those requirements within the Manufacturing Systems domain.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, research, plan, and design for the environment within the Manufacturing Systems domain ensuring that business needs are met, coordinating with the broad group of Architects to ensure an integrated, coherent approach to the entire systems designSustain the design standards for the domain ensuring that we reuse standard systems setup and processes, evaluate requests for modification working closely with Solutions Analysts and the CoE to approve, modify or reject changesWork closely with our external vendors/partners to ensure that we optimize the technical landscape and that we are fully aware of external changes and developments that we need to work with to secure an ongoing robust landscapeEnsure that design processes are established and followed, and that the designs are appropriately documented, including comprehensive testing proceduresWould assist users in testing and adoption of process improvements working closely with Business Partners and Solutions AnalystsAssist as needed with corrective actions when system issues occur forming part of the Tier 3 support groupAssemble appropriate documentation to support process changes and where needed, create training aids or standard operating proceduresProvide project support where required for new implementations/rolloutsProvide support for continuous process improvementsProvide support to the systems architecture team when needed, especially regarding the installation of significant upgrades from our software solution suppliersSkillsBachelor's degree required in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related fieldMust have 3+ years direct experience leading the architecture, configuration, and development for the Finance domain of Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations in a multinational companyMust have direct configuration experience with G/L, AR, APMust have direct experience of the full ERP implementation cycle, from initial needs analysis, through rollout and stabilizationMust have direct experience of leveraging and integrating enterprise level systems, inclusive of ERP, Business Intelligence, and Consolidation SystemsExperience in systems governance for the domain and the ability to work with others to establish the development process and controlsExcellent ability to collaborate and engage with other IT architects and analysts, business customers, project managers and external third partiesStrong business analysis and problem solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audienceMust be able to work across all IT technical platforms to coordinate joint resolution of business problemsExperience influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority and maintaining strong working relationshipsFluent in all Microsoft Office365 applications, including Power BIPreferred experience with machine builder/ OEM business processesExperience leading and participating in the design of robotic process automation projects is a plusCertified Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance professionals are preferred, however not mandatoryCompany OverviewBarry-Wehmiller is a company that provides manufactures packaging and paper processing equipment.
