Remote Cybersecurity Operations Director

This critical role involves leading the organization's efforts to safeguard digital assets while maintaining the reliability and efficiency of its IT infrastructure. You will oversee enterprise-wide information security programs and manage core IT operations, aligning technology strategies with organizational goals. This position demands a visionary leader who champions security within an innovative technology framework, particularly in AI and SaaS environments. Your influence will be vital in navigating the complexities of information security while driving modernization in IT systems. Responsibilities • Manage and influence both physical and cyber security risk to protect the organization and its stakeholders. • Support the development and execution of the information security strategy. • Implement and maintain security governance processes and compliance initiatives. • Oversee day-to-day security operations including monitoring and incident response. • Partner with IT and Engineering teams to embed security in the software development lifecycle. • Assist in defining cloud and SaaS security practices. • Manage third-party security risk assessments. • Drive security awareness and training programs. • Provide regular reporting on security posture and incidents. • Manage global technology device processes including onboarding and maintenance. • Ensure internal IT networks are stable and up-to-date. • Lead IT Support functions to address hardware and software needs. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field. • Minimum of 8–10 years in information security roles, with 3 years in a leadership capacity. • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2). • Proven experience in developing and implementing security policies in a SaaS environment. • Hands-on experience with application and product security. • Solid understanding of cloud security principles. • Demonstrated incident response and vulnerability management experience. • Excellent communication skills to convey security concepts effectively. • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
