[Remote] CyberSecurity Defense Operations Analyst

Humana is committed to putting health first and is seeking a skilled CyberSecurity Defense Operations Analyst to strengthen their Cybersecurity Operations Center. This role involves monitoring, triaging, and responding to security alerts, as well as documenting and analyzing cyber defense incidents. Responsibilities Monitor, triage, and respond to complex security alerts Document and log cyber defense incidents from initial detection through final resolution or escalation Ensure information is appropriately catalogued, analyzed, and reported on for root-cause analysis identification Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed Follow established guidelines/procedures Skills 1-3 years of experience in a security operations center or similar environment Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM and EDR Ability to investigate and respond to security alerts Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Related Security Certification Bach Degree in a technology related concentration Benefits Medical Dental and vision benefits 401(k) retirement savings plan Time off (including paid time off, company and personal holidays, volunteer time off, paid parental and caregiver leave) Short-term and long-term disability Life insurance Company Overview Humana is a health insurance provider for individuals, families, and businesses.
