[Remote] Cybersecurity Analyst - SOC (Information Technology Analyst 2)

They are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to monitor security tools, perform security reviews, research vulnerabilities, and implement security procedures.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Monitor information security tools for vulnerabilities and potential security incidents
ā¢ Perform security reviews related to user IDs, authorized access, and controls
ā¢ Research vulnerabilities and develop strategies for safeguarding information
ā¢ Implement information security procedures related to new applications and initiatives
ā¢ Install, configure, and maintain security hardware and/or software
Skills
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
ā¢ One year of professional experience in IT-related roles such as system analysis, troubleshooting, or business analysis
ā¢ CompTIA Security Plus Certification is required
ā¢ Ability to substitute relevant IT experience for educational requirements on a year-for-year basis
ā¢ Proficiency in security technologies and information systems
ā¢ Experience with Endpoint, Network, and other Detection and Response tools
ā¢ Internships within relevant departments may substitute for professional experience
