[Remote] Customer Support Representative

The Customer Support Representative is responsible for providing best-in-class customer service and claims assistance, managing daily tasks, and ensuring compliance with set standards for contractors.ResponsibilitiesAct as a liaison, provide guidance, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face with accuracy and efficiencyProactively ensure contractor compliance with standards set forth in best practicesReview insurance claim assignments within assigned territory to ensure contractor compliance with standards set forth in best practicesHandle incoming and outgoing phone calls and email in a timely mannerIdentify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutionsCommunicate with Regional Field Managers and external Clients regarding outstanding issues related to claims and contractors in their assigned areasTrain contractors and adjusters on all Altimeter products as neededProvide contractor technical troubleshooting and/or support on respective software programs including assistance with password difficultiesAssist with catastrophe events as neededPerform other duties as assignedSkillsHigh school diploma requiredTwo years of Customer Service experienceBasic computer and keyboarding skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookMust be able to work in both a team environment and autonomouslySelf-motivated and independently able to prioritize tasks and resolve issuesBachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferredInsurance industry or construction experience strongly preferredPrevious experience working with general contractors/vendors is a plusIntermediate to advanced computer skillsStrong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with business leadershipProblem solving skills, including issue resolution and positioningMulti-channel communication and support experience including instant messaging, email, and phone calls with customersAbility to stay organized while managing multiple prioritiesKnowledge of web browsers – Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla FirefoxKnowledge of Claims Management Systems a plusCompany OverviewAltimeter Solutions Group is a tech-enabled managed repair company that offers remediation, restoration, and specialty services.
