[Remote] Customer Support Consultant - Reference Labs

IDEXX is an innovation leader in the veterinary diagnostics industry, seeking a Customer Support Consultant to serve as the direct line between the company and its customers. This role involves resolving customer inquiries and providing lab test results while maintaining high standards of customer service in a fast-paced virtual environment.ResponsibilitiesAct as the liaison between customers and the IDEXX laboratoriesAnswer customer questions and quickly and effectively resolve issuesProvide and clarify lab test resultsCoordinate follow-up tests on samplesHelp coordinate the pickup and delivery of samplesSkillsFluent in both French and EnglishHighly motivated, goal-oriented, and a strong collaboratorProven track record of providing extraordinary customer serviceExperience in a technically related field, veterinary practice, laboratory setting, and/or contact center environmentStrong computer and technical skillsMaster problem solver with fine attention to detailStrong organizational skills in a multi-tasking environmentAbility to learn quickly and apply skills and abilities to a variety of customer interactionsSuperb listening and communication (verbal and written) skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport quicklyAbility to be on the phone for 8 hours a day in a quiet workspace or officeAvailability by telephone, voicemail, email, and Teams Microsoft messaging during scheduled business hoursHigh-speed hardwired internet connection (minimum 15 Mbps download; 3 Mbps upload)Schedule flexibility to work 8.5 hours between 11:30am and 8:00pm EST Monday-Friday and Saturdays (9am -5:30pm EST) on a rotating basisReliable and dependable attendanceAssociate's or bachelor's degree in a computer-related discipline or scientific (Biology/Chemistry/etc.) discipline or equivalent combination of education and experienceBenefitsEligible for annual bonusHealth / Dental / Vision BenefitsCompany Overview10,000+ people, one global focus - enhancing the health and well-being of pets, people, and livestock We are passionate about what we do at IDEXX – and why wouldn’t we be?
