As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be part of a team that is committed to excellence, empathy, and understanding. **Key Responsibilities** As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service to individuals, families, small group employees, and brokers seeking information, enrollment assistance, and other services related to arenaflex's MHC * Assisting with eligibility and enrollment for Medicaid and services applications and enrollments for Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange * Utilizing the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and other State systems to perform all tasks and duties for HIX customers * Responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating concerns as needed * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactions * Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery * Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and arenaflex's policies and procedures **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center or healthcare setting * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software * Ability to pass a State Policy Exam with 80% or higher * A personal computer with an i5 processor or higher and a high-speed internet connection **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Experience working with Medicaid, Qualified Health Plans, or other healthcare-related programs * Knowledge of the Maryland Health Connection (MHC) and its policies and procedures * Certification in customer service or a related field * Bilingual or multilingual skills **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with internal teams * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Strong customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, understanding, and resolution **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will have access to: * Ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge * Career growth opportunities within the organization, including promotions and lateral moves * A dynamic and supportive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and creativity * A comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, vision insurance, and work-from-home flexibility **Work Environment and Company Culture** As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will work from the comfort of your own home, with a flexible schedule that allows you to balance your work and personal life. arenaflex is committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
