Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of the arenaflex customer service team, your primary duties will include:

Heavy Phone Contact: Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls with policyholders, healthcare providers, and interested third parties, providing professional and empathetic assistance with their insurance-related inquiries.
Policy Information Support: Explain policy coverage details, benefits, and limitations to policyholders in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring they fully comprehend their insurance protection.
Claim Status Assistance: Provide timely updates on claim status, investigate claims issues, and work diligently to resolve any concerns or discrepancies policyholders may have.
Payment Processing: Assist policyholders with claim payments, premium inquiries, billing questions, and other financial aspects of their insurance policies.
Multi-Channel Communication: Process policyholder requests received through various channels including correspondence, phone calls, and email, ensuring each inquiry receives prompt and accurate attention.
Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions in our database systems, ensuring information is current and accessible for future reference.
Procedure Compliance: Review and implement new and revised procedures regarding policy information, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Performance Standards: Meet or exceed department standards for call volume, average handle time, and quality metrics while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction scores.
Time Management: Effectively manage your schedule to handle customer inquiries efficiently while balancing productivity goals with service quality.
Confidentiality Maintenance: Uphold strict confidentiality standards, protecting sensitive policyholder information and complying with privacy regulations at all times.


Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
Minimum of one year of office or customer service experience; telecommunications experience is a plus
Background in Life and Health insurance with knowledge of insurance operations is highly desirable
Proven customer service background with excellent phone skills and a passion for helping others
Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent alpha and number recognition skills with strong attention to detail
Demonstrated mathematical abilities and comfort working with numerical data
Basic PC skills including proficiency with standard software applications
Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly, with tact and professionalism at all times
Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze situations and draw logical conclusions
Reliable and predictable attendance for your assigned shift
Ability to work full-time or part-time based on the specific position


Technical and Home Office Requirements
Since this is a remote position, candidates must meet the following technical and workspace requirements:

Residency: Must reside in the Greater Houston Area
Internet: High-speed internet connection with minimum 20mbps upload speed (Wi-Fi is not sufficient; ethernet connection required)
Equipment: A smartphone is required for this role; arenaflex will provide a company workstation
Workspace: A dedicated home office or quiet, designated space to work as a remote worker
Safety: Must have a fire extinguisher in your home for safety compliance
Availability: Ability to work a 40-hour workweek with flexible scheduling options
