[Remote] Customer Service Manager - Steam Power Field Services
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GE Vernova is seeking a Customer Service Manager for their Steam Power Field Services team. This role involves leading service execution for outages and projects on GE’s Fossil installed base of steam turbines, ensuring excellent quality, safety, and customer satisfaction while managing the portfolio's P&L.ResponsibilitiesAct as the single point of contact to the customerResponsible for customer portfolio P&L and growthEstablish and maintain contact to provide on-going technical and business support to assigned customers in designated geographic regionResponsible for outage scope planning and execution, including closeout oversight, event parts, and repairs planningAct as the interface with various internal stakeholders such as engineering, finance, sales, sourcing, affiliates, risk, parts, and repairsResponsible for establishing work scope, pricing, and driving emergent work for major repair projectsOversee transactional (TX), Extra Work, and Job Cost Estimator (JCE) proposals for assigned customersNegotiate applicable concessions as they arise balancing maximum benefits/satisfaction for the customer with minimal acceptable financial impact to GEResponsible for driving fulfillment 5 excellence including: EHS, Quality, Schedule, Productivity and Cost at assigned customer sitesSkillsBachelor's Degree from an accredited University or College OR ( a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer facing role or and associates degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer facing role)Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the timeBachelor's Degree from an accredited University or College PreferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in a customer facing role in power generation industry or similar industryKnowledge & experience within the power generation equipmentKnowledge of Steam Turbine and Generator design, operations and maintenanceExperience planning and executing outagesFamiliarity with Contracts and Service AgreementsStrong quality background with Black Belt certificationStrong leadership, financial, and commercial skillsTeam leader in a dynamic, energetic and proactive environmentDemonstrated communication & organizational skillsExperience establishing credibility and developing relationships with challenging customersBenefitsBonus eligibility: Discretionary annual bonusRelocation Assistance Provided: No#LI-Remote - This is a remote positionCompany OverviewGE Vernova provides energy consulting, gas power, and grid solutions.
