[Remote] Customer Service Insurance Professional (Personal Lines)

Frankenmuth Insurance is seeking a Customer Service Insurance Professional to provide effective customer service for all internal and external customers. This role involves front line underwriting of current business, identifying cross sell and upsell opportunities, and maintaining relationships with policy holders and agents.ResponsibilitiesBuilds and maintains working relationship with customers and agents:Supports policy holders by responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability and eligibility of policy and coverages. Complete full review of policy coverages, advise policy holders of coverage options, determine eligibility and acceptability of policy change requestsFollow up with policy holders regarding all necessary underwriting requests to complete a new business policy or endorsement issuanceCompletes Replacement Cost Estimator (RCE) on any homeowner coverage changesCommunicates verbally, in writing, and electronically with customers, agents and vendorsKeeps detailed records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, policy quotes and issuance and general comments, as well as actions takenField initial claims and billing inquiriesIdentifies sales opportunities for all Personal Lines insurance products:Complete risk assessment of policy holder and determine eligibilityComplete policy quotesCompletes Replacement Cost Estimator (RCE) on all new business quoted or issuedReviews applications and binds coverage for customers quotedSolicits sale of new or additional services or productsProcesses policy changes such as address changes, vehicle additions, or coverage changesProvide training support for team:Create or modify tools/job aids utilizedFacilitate training of new hires and current team membersPerforms other duties as assignedSkillsTwo to four years related experience and/or training; or associate's degree (A.A.) from two-year college/technical school; or equivalent combination of education and related experience/trainingProperty & Casualty License requiredAbility to work legally in the United StatesCompany OverviewFrankenmuth Insurance offers customized coverage for business, home, auto and life insurance.
