REMOTE Customer Service
TEK Systems is hiring for Remote Customer Service Representatives for a large and successful health insurance client in the Pittsburgh area!
Join the Benefits team and work in a REMOTE collaborative and supportive environment - this is not your traditional call center! Benefits Representatives will have the rewarding opportunity to help our client's participants through the insurance enrollment... process / assist in making updates to their health care and/or pension plans.
MUST LIVE WITHIN 2 HOURS OF PITTSBURGH, PA FOR THIS REMOTE ROLE!
Key Responsibilities:
Quickly build rapport and respond to plan participants in a compassionate manner
Customize customer service approach to meet all types of communication styles and personalities while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy during difficult calls
Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data security requirements
Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and compliance with company and client procedures and guidelines providing appropriate and accurate information
Maintain and document complete and accurate call and case notes in a professional manner
Regularly participate in team meetings and training
Perform other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications:
Effective communication skills (verbal and written), high level attention to detail, multi-tasking, and ability to organize work
Computer savvy = experience using MS Office and ability to juggle multiple open computer windows at a time required
Comfortable working in a virtual environment. This may include online training and chat interactions while on the job
Typing speed of at least 30 WPM
Bilingual candidates (Spanish or French) encouraged to apply!
Other Details to Know:
This team is hiring for seasonal work, however individuals performing well during the busy season will be invited to stay on and/or be hired as permanent employees... ALL of their current supervisors and many managers started out as seasonal colleagues in roles like these!
This role does not involve weekend work - this department works standard business hours of 8am-7pm, with extended hours during busy season
This role is REMOTE, but you must live within 2 hours of the client site in Pittsburgh (must be willing to travel onsite for your first day, but additional training will be remote)
Onsite or hybrid schedules also available!
