[Remote] Customer Operations Engineering Lead

Muon Space is an end-to-end Space Systems Provider that designs, builds, and operates LEO satellite constellations delivering mission-critical data. They are seeking a Customer Operations Engineering Lead to join their Satellite Operations Team, responsible for managing customer data requests and ensuring efficient data collection and delivery across missions.ResponsibilitiesLead customer focussed collection planning, schedule deconfliction, and reporting activities within the Satellite Operations TeamEnsure timely data collection and delivery across Muon’s missions according to customer requirementsCoordinate with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure appropriate prioritization of collection activitiesDevelopment of standard collection planning, performance monitoring, and reporting processes that scale across Muon’s current and future missionsPerform capacity planning for the Customer Operations team and develop onboarding and training programs for future hiresEnsure customer inquiries are addressed accurately and according to the required response timeSkills7+ years of experience in a customer facing technical role such as technical account management, solutions architecture, or professional servicesExperience in a leading teams with a track record of hiring, mentoring, and scaling to meet business needsDemonstrated ability creating customer focussed processes and strategies that are scalable in a high growth environmentExperience managing relationships with sophisticated customers in a demanding environment (e.g. defense, aerospace, or government)Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesExcellent time management and organization skillsExcited to work in a fast-paced environment with new challenges each weekWillingness to obtain a clearanceExperience with satellite mission planning, command and control systems, and telemetry analysisExperience with on-orbit satellite payload operations and data processingUnderstanding of ITAR/EAR regulationsBenefitsEquity compensationMedical, dental, and vision insurance401k retirement planShort & long term disability and life insuranceThree weeks paid vacation for new employees12 paid holidaysUnlimited sick timePaid parental leaveCompany OverviewMuon Space is a space systems company that designs, builds, and operates LEO satellite constellations for earth intelligence missions.
