The role involves leading and supporting large, integrated laboratory service projects, requiring strong project management skills and effective communication with customers and stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesSupport the sales process by contributing to solution design and development for customer projectsManage and help execute large, multi-functional, and multi-vendor service projects, including:Laboratory relocationsAsset management programsFacility inventoriesOther CrossLab service solutionsAssist in developing and maintaining project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirementsCoordinate with customers to define project requirements and implement tailored solutionsSupport pricing and proposal development for customized project workEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with customer expectationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and third-party vendorsLead meetings, track progress, and maintain clear and accurate project documentationActively participate in on-site project delivery activitiesSkillsBachelor's degree in a scientific or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience8+ years of relevant professional experience, including at least: 5+ years of customer-facing field project managementExperience applying project management methodologies (formal training or equivalent experience)Strong written and verbal communication skillsExperience working directly with external customersExperience using data tools or reporting systems to analyze and present informationAbility and willingness to travel up to 50% or more, depending on project needsPMP certificationExperience in laboratory environments, instrument service, or equipment maintenanceFamiliarity with GMP and/or GLP environmentsPharmaceutical or life sciences industry experienceExperience managing project budgets, including quotes, purchase orders, and invoice reconciliationExperience working with third-party service providersLean Six Sigma certification or trainingProficiency with: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint)Project and data tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Visio, SAP, Maximo, or similar systems)BenefitsPlus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefitsOption to work remotelyCompany OverviewAgilent Technologies addresses the scientific and laboratory management needs of analytical scientists and clinical researchers.
