Responsibilities Investigate Property Histories — Dig into public records — deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, plats, and maps — to build a clear picture of each property’s legal standing Resolve Title Defects — Identify issues like senior interests, liens, tax discrepancies, and judgments, then work them through to a clean resolution Manage Your Pipeline — Own a daily caseload of files from review through clearance, hitting deadlines and maintaining quality across every one Analyze Recorded Instruments — Determine the impact of each document in the chain of title and make sound decisions about next steps Keep Everyone Informed — Communicate proactively with clients, borrowers, agents, and internal teams — providing clear updates and answering questions before they’re asked Document Everything — Maintain accurate, consistent records in our system so nothing slips through the cracks Skills 1+ years of experience in title, real estate, or a closely related field Associate's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience The ability to read and interpret title documents, underwriting guidelines, lender instructions, trust agreements, and purchase contracts Strong customer service instincts and polished, professional communication skills Comfort working under pressure and juggling multiple priorities without missing a beat Proficiency with Microsoft Office (familiarity with Resware is a plus) Solid math skills for calculating interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages Company Overview Founded in 2004, First Source Title Agency is a trusted title company headquartered in North Ridgeville, Ohio, providing reliable title and escrow services nationwide.
