[Remote] CT Visualization Software Engineer

KPG99 INC is seeking a CT Visualization Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize advanced CT image visualization and analysis software. This role focuses on delivering high-performance, clinically intuitive tools for 3D/2D visualization, segmentation, measurement, and procedural planning, while collaborating with clinical, product, and regulatory teams.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement 2D/3D CT visualization workflows, including MPR, MIP, volume rendering, and curved planar reformationDevelop interactive tools for: Anatomical navigation, Measurements and annotations, Device sizing and placement simulationOptimize rendering performance for large CT datasetsImplement and integrate: CT segmentation algorithms, Anatomical modeling and surface reconstruction, Registration and co-registration techniquesEnsure accuracy and reproducibility of quantitative measurementsValidate algorithms against clinical datasetsDevelop production-quality software using C++ and/or C# (.NET)Integrate visualization components into larger platforms (desktop, cloud, or hybrid)Collaborate on system architecture, APIs, and data pipelinesWrite unit, integration, and performance testsWork with clinicians to translate workflow needs into usable softwareCollaborate with product management and UX to refine visualization experiencesSupport regulatory documentation and design controls when requiredSkillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent experience5+ years of professional software development experienceStrong experience with CT imaging data (DICOM)Strong experience with Medical image visualizationProficiency in C++ (modern C++) and/or C# / .NETSolid understanding of 3D geometry and linear algebraSolid understanding of Image processing fundamentalsSolid understanding of Performance optimization and memory managementExperience with visualization or imaging libraries such as VTK, ITK, OpenGL, DirectX, VulkanFamiliarity with DICOM toolkits (DCMTK, GDCM)Familiarity with Medical imaging workflows (PACS, VNA)Experience in cardiac CT, structural heart, EP, or interventional planningExposure to AI/ML-based segmentationExposure to Cloud-based imaging solutionsPrior work in regulated medical software (FDA, IEC 62304)Company OverviewOur business consulting services are led by significant domain depth built on a robust technology-driven services platform.
