Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. New American Funding is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will work with the Inside Loan Agent Division. The primary function of this position is to make outbound calls to communicate with potential customers regarding home loan refinancing or new mortgage loans, while providing high levels of customer service and support throughout the loan origination process.ResponsibilitiesEngage in conversation and establish rapport with customers via email and outbound telephone communicationInquire and gather information as it relates to a customer's financial situation and financial goalsEducate both customers and loan officers about next steps for a customer's fileSet realistic expectations for both loan officers and customers in order to maximize customer satisfactionInput data into computer system as it relates to information gathered for the mortgage loanDisposition customer files appropriately depending on the interest and ability of customers to proceed with being connected with a Loan Officer to continue the loan origination processOther duties may be assignedSkillsMust have outbound dialer experience1-2 years of customer service, call center, or sales experienceAbility to effectively communicate with customersExcellent customer service skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and OutlookPassionate about helping customers achieve financial goalsMust be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.SOne or more years' of office or inside customer service / call center experience1 or more years of experience working in the mortgage or real estate industry1+ years of customer service and/or sales experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferredCompany OverviewNew American Funding provides cutting-edge marketing and technology efforts allow us to compete with large banks.
