[Remote] Credit and Collection Analyst

Convergint is looking for a full-time Credit and Collection Analyst to manage customer credit risk and ensure timely collection of accounts receivable. This role involves building relationships with customers, resolving payment issues, and analyzing financial data to support cash flow and minimize financial loss.ResponsibilitiesPreparing and submitting customer account statementsFollowing up on outstanding invoices via email, phone, meetings, or customer portalsIdentifying and resolving payment issues, billing errors, and customer disputes through building positive relationship and collaboration with customers and internal business partners including Account Executives, Program Managers, Senior Management, and corporate teamsProviding updates to billing team regarding customer invoice requirements to ensure timely payment of invoicesEnsuring the correct application of credits to outstanding invoicesTracking and reporting the accruals for write-offs and bad debtsMaintaining detailed spreadsheet of invoice progress, aging, and customer updatesAnalyzing and monitoring aging invoices and cash flow to ensure achieving planned financial resultsCreating weekly and monthly AR and aging invoices reports for the senior managers, sales team, and other stakeholdersResearching and analyzing financial data to identify the root causes of AR issues, implementing solutions to support productivity and improve performancePerforming other duties and responsibilities as requested or requiredSkillsSolid accounts receivable knowledge with preferred experience in construction industryCustomer service orientedSolid team orientationExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills and ability to deal with a wide cross section of people both internal and external to the businessProficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience with financial software including ability to track invoices, run reports, data entry, etcStrong planning and organizational skillsVery adaptable – responds effectively to changes in situation or information; ability to influence others and build consensus using good written and verbal communication skillsEducation: High School/GED or equivalent experienceMinimum Experience: 3 years collections, billing, and/or financialPreferred Education: 2–4-year college degreeBenefits10 Company Holidays and Paid Time Off starting at 13 days annuallyFun & Laughter Day OffMedical, Dental & Vision PlanLife insurance & Disability PlanWellness Program401K Matching PlanColleague Assistance ProgramTuition reimbursementCompetitive salary and compensation planVehicle reimbursement plan or company vehicle (if applicable)Corporate Social Responsibility DayCell phone reimbursement (if applicable)Paid parental leaveCompany OverviewConvergint is a global systems integrator focused on delivering results for our customers through unparalleled service excellence.
