[Remote] Credit Analyst II

The Credit Analyst II will be responsible for conducting credit and financial analysis, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.ResponsibilitiesConduct periodic credit reviews within an assigned portfolio and quantify results in a narrative format based on processing models, metrics and a detailed financial analysis resulting in verbal and written recommendations to management consistent within company risk appetitePerform financial analysis preparing Credit Risk Assessments and Periodic Review of existing merchants with detailed recommendations and creative risk mitigation strategiesAnalyze merchants with varying risk dependencies and credit quality associated with diverse business types and processing environments to determine potential exposureExecute against Credit Policy driven collateral strategies to minimize losses by implementing reserves, sourcing letters of credit and/or administering funding holdsCommunicate effectively with partner, internal departments, and management as necessary to obtain financial information or other documentation necessary to complete merchant reviewsReview and make recommendations to update department policies and procedures based on changing industry trends or process adjustmentsWork collectively with other Department personnel for required enhanced due diligence reviews or to obtain historical data and feedback regarding assigned accountsOther duties may be assigned by Portfolio Management leadershipSkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent2-5 years of experience in Risk Management, Underwriting and/or Compliance within the acquiring industryExperience with high-risk payment processing a mustIn-depth knowledge of Excel and other similar productsFamiliarity with various tools used for credit analysis and due diligence (i.e. Equifax/Transunion, TIN Check, MATCH, GIACT, Merlink, G2, LS, etc.) a plusProficiency with Microsoft products including Microsoft ExcelUnderstanding of Card Brand rules and regulationsUnderstanding of various verticals and associated risksWorking knowledge of High-Risk Integrity (“HR”) RegistryExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent time management skillsEffective written and verbal communication skills with ability to liaise with team members and leadership of various levelsBachelor's Degree, Finance, Business Administration, or similar a plusBenefitsCompetitive Salary, Bonuses and Incentives.Comprehensive employer sponsored health, vision, and dental insurance programs.Paid time off, Paid Sick and Paid Holidays.401K plan with up to a 4% matching contribution.Commitment to Career Development and Advancement.Employee Recognition ProgramsVibrant Office Culture, Team Building, Birthdays, Work Anniversaries, Snacks, and more!Company OverviewTechnology-focused full-service payment processor.
